A hair oil is not just a regular, ordinary greasy substance that saves damaged and dehydrated wisps. Its performance is much more complex.

First of all – well-selected oil will not make your scalp greasy or overburden your hair. Its phenomenon is that it does not only work on the surface of the hair but penetrates deeply into its interior. Together with the tiny oil particles, there are also vitamins, minerals and good fatty acids that penetrate the core of the hair. Once they reach the inner parts, they nourish, revitalize the strands, improve their growth and prevent falling out – these are the main determinants of the uniqueness of hair oils. Another important feature of natural oils is how they enhance the hair immediately after application. Try to apply it onto dry strands, just after blow-drying.

The effect will overwhelm your wildest expectations. The strands immediately gain brilliance, resilience, and vitality. This is the fastest hair makeover you can receive.

What does a hair oil contain?

Hair oil comprises a range of vitamins responsible for providing hair with strength and beauty. The most important vitamins you should definitely look for in such products are: vitamins E, A, C, and B group.

Hair oils can also contain elements such as iron, zinc, iodine, magnesium, zinc, selenium, phytosterols and beta carotene. They all nourish hair sensationally, providing strength and vitality. They are essential, because thanks to them, hair is not ageing, it does not grey and does not fall out.

The undisputed number one ingredient of hair oils are good fatty acids (they can be saturated, unsaturated, mono- or polyunsaturated, depending on the type of oil). Their main task is to regulate all processes occurring in the body including slowing down the ageing.

It is also important what a good hair oil does not contain. The best ones should be free of silicones, alcohols, artificial, comedogenic substances, petroleum derivatives and anything that after long use destroys the hair and disrupts the processes that occur on the surface of the scalp. Unfortunately, manufacturers often “enrich” their products with a range of artificial, harmful substances. Therefore, when evaluating hair oils, we paid attention to their compositions.

Hair Oiling – how to perform it?

Using hair oils is a piece of cake – just apply it to the hair and scalp. What is more, You can use it in several ways, that is, apply to dry hair, after or before washing, onto wet strands, while bathing or just after it. Also, the oil can be applied from the mid-length, or only to the tips, or (preferably) overnight including the scalp. This method of hair oiling gives hair the most benefits because the molecules penetrate not only into the hair shaft but also into the hair bulbs. In the morning, just wash everything off with a gentle shampoo. Warning! Not every oil is suitable for skin application. You can also read about it in our review.
